Helen Todd
Helen Todd founded Sociality Squared in 2010 and serves as its CEO. She is an award-winning marketer, international speaker, and also an advisor and speaker for SXSW Interactive.
Her specialties include helping brands grow loyal and engaged communities by strategically bringing their stories alive online.
Helen graduated from Xavier University and holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College.
Helen is curious about people – what connects us, what impacts us, and what the future holds for us.
Kristy Beagle
Kristy Beagle, based in Cincinnati, OH, has been with Sociality Squared since 2012 and serves as an Account Executive. Her expertise includes project management, writing, reporting, paid social media campaigns, and overall social media strategy and execution. She’s a one-stop social media machine.
Kristy is on the board of the Schnauzer Rescue of Cincinnati, sits on the Xavier University National Alumni Board, and is President of the Xavier Alumni Cincinnati Chapter. In her spare time, you can find her at the gym or hanging out with her dogs and husband!
Megan Botti
Megan, based in Tulsa, OK, began working at Sociality Squared in the beginning of 2017. She loves being a part of the team with her role as a Social Media Manager. She enjoys the flexibility of executing new concepts and ideas while working with a wide scope of brands. Megan is a pro at responding and engaging to clients’ communities across their platforms.
When she’s not glued behind her computer, you can find her outside on a hiking trail, catching a plane to her next travels, or probably asking you to pet your dog.
Tom Brink
Tom Brink, based in Los Angeles, CA, joined the team in November 2017 as a Content Creator. In this role, he’s responsible for developing digital media across platforms and mediums — including graphic design, video editing, copywriting, and more. His experience includes graphic design at a Fortune 500 tech company, writing and editing Time Out New York’s comedy section, and being a Video Editor and Producer working in digital and live TV broadcast for shows like ABC’s Good Morning America.
In his free time, Tom writes and performs comedy, drinks too much coffee, goes on food adventures and is on the constant search of cool new tunes.
Malek Khulusi
Malek has been with the Sociality Squared team since 2018. His expertise lies in paid social media campaigns. Specifically, he specializes in performance Facebook, Instagram, and Google advertising. He’s been involved in online advertising since 2014. He executed upon Dollar Shave Club’s Facebook and Instagram Ads – their most strategic and important medium to this day – and saw the company grow from 400k to 5 million active subscribers from 2014 to 2016.
In his spare time, Malek enjoys the Lakers, watching movies, and spending time with large family.
Helene Kwong
Helene has been an Account Executive at Sociality Squared since November 2016 and is also the founder of Hashtagitude, an event marketing and creative agency. She enjoys the conversational nature of social media marketing and building genuine connections for socially conscious organizations. She believes the key to success for a business is an overall healthy work environment with optimal communication among team members. Helene is a master project manager and task-list creator!
On weekends, you can find Helene exploring Colorado with her partner Ryan, working on a crochet/knit/sewing project, or cuddling with her two cats, Kitty and Simba.”
Kate Schaefer
Kate serves as a Creative Director and has been with the company since 2017. She moved to NYC from Minnesota to study photography and never left. Kate has an eye for visuals and brings this attention to detail to client work. She loves working with a team who values organization as much as she does!
You might find her running along the East River (on the Queens side), watching audition videos (The Voice auditions tend to be the best), or keeping up on the latest wedding trends (she runs an LGBTQ+ wedding blog).
Arnold Carreiro
Arnold joined the Sociality Squared team in 2013 as a copywriter. He creates content for a variety of clients from social media posts to blogs. One of his favorite things about working for S2 is that each client presents a fresh challenge, a unique voice, and a new set of parameters to write within.
When he’s not writing for work, Arnold can be found hammering out his next book or enjoying video games you haven’t heard of. This author combined both when he released his first book: Press Play to Inspire.
Jason Schneider
Jason began working with Sociality Squared as the writer for the Leica Camera Blog. Currently, he writes the popular #ThrowbackThursday posts for the Leica Society and contributes to their website. Jason is perhaps best known as a writer and editor who created The Camera Collector column and rose through the ranks at Modern Photography magazine to become its Editorial Director. After leaving Modern, he became the Editor-in-Chief of Popular Photography, a position he held for 16 years.
Outside of Sociality Squared, he has written three books on camera collecting and an authoritative volume on wood burning stove and is currently writing a book with the working title “Understanding Emily Dickinson: A Reader’s Guide To The Enlightened Master.”
Shelley Graner
Shelley started working with Sociality Squared in 2018, but first crossed paths with Helen while working as the Digital Marketing Manager at IMAX. After her tenure at IMAX, overseeing digital marketing efforts for all of their Hollywood and documentary films, Shelley served as a volunteer fellow with Kiva (a microlending NGO) in Kolkata, India. It was during her subsequent travels that she started freelancing, focused on branding and copy/content, which allowed her to work remotely while crossing time zones. These days, Shelley is mostly planted in California, but loves a good jaunt to Bali, Argentina or anywhere with beautiful views, spicy food and outdoor cafes.
Amy Crowley
Amy has been a content strategist with Sociality Squared since 2019. She is a writer, researcher and problem solver who uses natural listening and observation skills to get to the root of matters quickly. A deep thinker, she believes everything starts with an audience-first strategy. Amy has more than 20 years of communication expertise serving as a corporate executive and agency leader and has worked with clients across industries in the B2C, B2B and non-profit worlds.
Outside of work, you can find Amy spending time with her husband and daughters on a volleyball or basketball court or on the soccer field. She’s also a wannabe DIYer who loves HGTV and Joanna Gaines!
Michael Tapp
Michael is an accomplished video camera operator and editor that’s worked on numerous video projects for Sociality Squared since he crossed paths with Helen six years ago. During his ten years in the television and film industry, he’s worked on national commercials and feature films. He’s shot for AMEX, Google, Intel, British Airways, Swatch, Louis, XIII, St. Regis, Cartier, and Ralph Lauren among others.
Michael enjoys working with Sociality Squared because they are an inclusive company that strives to do a great job. When Michael’s not working he enjoys reading, riding his bike and live music.
Megan McCoy
Megan graduated with a Recording Industry Management degree in 2006 from Middle Tennessee State University. She has been working as a Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines since 2008 and has been part of the S2 team since 2010. Her passion for social media was sparked by world travel and marketing for multiple music projects she has been a part of through the years.
She spends her free time playing guitar and singing in various music groups around Nashville, traveling with her family or just enjoying a good movie at home.
Erik Hogan
Erik works for Sociality Squared’s as a video editor. Originally from Kansas, Erik graduated with a degree in musical theater from Kansas State University. From there, he enjoyed a career in acting working regionally from theaters spanning from Florida to Alaska. He discovered a passion for filmmaking in 2009, that led him to his career in both Video Editing and Visual Effects. He has won various awards for his musical short film ‘I Met Her in the Coffee Shop’.
During the winters, he enjoys singing as a professional Christmas Caroler in the LA area. He lives with his two great loves, Kaitlin and their ‘fur-son’, Chester.
Ruth Walker
Ruth’s a proud Scot (from Edinburgh), who landed in New York City four years ago to edit a hyperlocal print magazine in Hell’s Kitchen. She joined the Sociality Squared team in 2018. A lifestyle journalist with specialisms in food, travel, fashion, and the arts, her remit has been to not just create and commission engaging content but to build a unique brand and develop its voice in one of the fastest growing neighborhoods of Manhattan.
Outside of work, Ruth can be found going to Broadway shows, museums, bars, and, whenever she gets the chance, escaping the city for big skies and hiking adventures.
